Israeli Arab Aslam Farouk has confessed to carrying out two Jerusalem bus bombings that occurred in short succession and killed two Israelis, Tadasa Tashume Ben Ma’ada and Arye Shechopek. Farouk is a supporter of ISIS who lives in Jerusalem, in Kafr Aqab. The confessed terrorist just completed his engineering studies, but also spent time online studying radical Muslim ideology and bomb-making.

Farouk tested several different types of explosives in the Judean Desert, prior to the attacks. The bombs were detonated by cellphone. DNA helped to solve the crime.
