Canadian public radio reporter Élisa Serret went on a live broadcast spouting classic tropes: Jews control American politics, run Hollywood, and dominate big cities. Radio-Canada suspended her and issued an apology, calling her remarks stereotypical and erroneous. But that’s not enough. She should be fired. Period.

It was just another purulent symptom of the deep rot and moral decay of the media. No one in the studio did anything to stop her and no one protested.Groups like B’nai Brith and CIJA are calling for a full review, and they’re spot on. We Jews, of all people, already know where such words lead.
