Jews are a people who love peace. Witness the fact that so many of the fans of Miss Iraq, Sarai Idan, are Jewish. Idan made headlines when she posed for a photo with Miss Israel during a Miss Universe competition. Her family had to flee Iraq after the photograph of her standing next to an Israeli Jew hit the newsstands (and the internet!).
Even after having to leave her home and all she knew, and her family, too, Miss Iraq won’t shut up about her willingness to associate and befriend Jews. Her Twitter account often reflects her longing for coexistence, as in this video she retweeted of a reunion between an Arab and an Israeli Jew who were childhood friends in Tunisia, an Arab country.
