During last weekend’s annual meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas, South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham said he’d like to see a defense pact between Israel and the United States that is similar to that of Nato. The senator said that this would send a message to the world that “an attack against Israel would be considered an attack against the United States.”

The Republican, who is staunchly pro-Israel, didn’t mince words when he said that such a pact would tell Israel’s enemies that “to destroy the one and only Jewish state, you have to come through us to get them.”

It’s nice to see such a clear expression of support for the Jewish State.
