What passes for discourse these days is pretty sad. A woman interrupted a hearing, shouting at Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. When she refused to quiet down, Representative Billy Long, a famed former auctioneer decided to do an auctioneer’s spiel to drown her out until she could be escorted out of the room. It was some performance!

It looks as though the protester’s message got lost in the joy over Long’s performance, which is as it should be. She doesn’t deserve to be heard when her behavior is this bad. It’s not cool to interrupt a hearing with a protest. That’s just wrong.
