The number of NFL teams protesting during the national anthem is long and, in the humble opinion of this blogger, depressing. Taking a knee during the national anthem is a sign of disrespect for a great and wonderful country that offers unheard of opportunities to people of all color, especially when compared to repressive third world countries. Whatever flaws need to be addressed, dissing your country in such a public and offensive manner is not the way.

Sports used to make us proud as Americans. Now it is a source of shame to patriots. It teaches our children to be ungrateful for what they have.
