Tech Mission Launches $10M Investment in Israel

Tech Mission

Business leaders and investors from the U.S. and South America recently came together in Israel to connect with locals and explore new investment opportunities amid challenging times. Brig. Gen. Amir Avivi inspired the group by talking about the potential for peace and economic growth as Israel moves forward from the traumatic events of October 7. Organized by Israel Tech Mission and J-Ventures, the trip allowed participants to meet innovative entrepreneurs, visit sites affected by the attacks, and discuss how their investments could contribute to Israel’s recovery. The mission already yielded $10 million in new funding for local projects.

David Nakar, the executive director of Israel Tech Mission, emphasized that this trip was about showing investors that Israel remains a secure and promising place to invest. Participants like J-Ventures founders Guy Miasnik and Ilana Golan shared personal stories, pointing out that investment now is not just about dollars; it’s about building a community that stands together. Miasnik stressed the importance of seeing investment as part of a collective effort to support Israel’s future. Executives like Stephanie Glenn noted that personal experiences can change perspectives, allowing them to better understand and support the rebuilding efforts happening on the ground. The sense of camaraderie and commitment among the group underscored the collective desire to help Israel thrive in the face of adversity.
