We hear a great deal about Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar. But it’s been a few weeks now and there’s been nothing in the mainstream media about the rape and murder of 19-year-old Ori Ansbacher, in the Ein Yael forest in Jerusalem. This gets hushed up in favor of talk about oppression, occupation, and freeing “Palestine.”

That’s because were the media to report about a young girl being raped because she was Jewish and alone, readers might begin to question the media: how does a rape free “Palestine” or “Palestinians?” Is it really just normal venting of nationalistic frustration that causes someone to rape and stab to death a pretty young girl who was just minding her own business?

So no one is reporting about this. Probably most American Jews haven’t even heard about the murder of Ori Ansbacher. Judean Rose paid a shiva call to Ori’s family in Tekoa, and wrote about it here. Please read and share it. Because the media won’t.
