The New York Times published an antisemitic political cartoon, reminiscent of the sort of thing that would have appeared in Der Stürmer during the heyday of the Nazi regime. And since it was published in the NY Times International edition, Israeli readers were confronted with the cartoon, depicting a blind President Trump wearing a yarmulke and being led by Prime Minister Netanyahu as a seeing-eye dachshund prominently wearing a Jewish star.
The truth is, it can’t get any more offensive, more antisemitic than that.
Except perhaps, back in the day when they buried news of the Holocaust in the back pages of the paper in small print.
